Snuffles the hedgehog

Snuffles was found in the snow on boxing day evening. We took him inside and fattened him up as he was too small to hibernate. When we found him he weighed 357g. He was fed mealworms, dog food, and cat biscuits. We weighed him regularly and his weight increased gradually. He was kept in a box in the spare bedroom until 2 weeks ago, when he was moved into a hutch in the shed. We weighed him just before release and he weighed 1029g.
